4. Product Usage Method

First, accurately weigh the A and B components according to the ratio, then mix them evenly until the color is uniform. Under vacuum conditions (≥700mmHg), perform vacuum degassing for about 10 minutes. After degassing, proceed with potting or casting. Allow the mixture to stand at room temperature for at least 12 hours to cure into a rubbery elastomer.


5. Precautions

1. During vacuum degassing, the volume of the adhesive may expand significantly, so use an appropriate container to prevent overflow.

2. Curing at elevated temperatures can speed up the process (e.g., 0.5h curing at 80℃) and may also increase the linear shrinkage rate. For precision products, it is recommended to cure at room temperature or avoid high-temperature curing. If rapid curing at high temperature is required, consider the issue of linear shrinkage.

3. The working life of the silicone rubber is temperature-dependent: higher temperatures reduce working time, and vice versa.

4. Complete the operation within the specified pot life.

5. Before vulcanization, avoid contact with organic compounds that could affect curing, such as unsaturated hydrocarbon plasticizers, residues of flux, and substances containing amines, phosphorus, sulfur, sulfone, arsenic, organic tin, etc. Otherwise, it will cause incomplete or even non-vulcanization of silicone rubber. Therefore, before using this product,, make conduct compatibility tests between the silicone rubber and the substrate.

6. Cleaning

Uncured silicone rubber can be cleaned with hydrocarbons such as toluene or 120# gasoline. Polar solvents such as ketones and alcohols are not suitable.


7. Product Packaging

This product is available in two standard packaging options: 20KG and 200KG plastic or metal drums.


8. Product Storage and Transportation

Liquid silicone rubber is classified as non-hazardous and can be transported accordingly. Store sealed in a dry, cool place with temperatures below 30℃, with a shelf life of 6 months.

The main components of liquid silicone rubber are considered essentially harmless after years of application. Use general industrial safety and health regulations.
