Overview
Two-component addition-curing at room temperature.
1. Product Features
1. Extremely low viscosity, good fluidity.
2. Cures at room temperature, heating can significantly increase the curing speed.
3. Insulating, moisture-proof, and resistant to high and low temperatures.
4. Transparent elastic body (jelly-like), repairable.
5. Good adhesion to substrates, non-corrosive.

3. Product Applications
1. Potting for cable joints.
2. Applied for encapsulation, casting, or sealing.
3. Protect electronic components and assemblies.
4. IGBT chip encapsulation.
4. Product Usage Method
1. Weighing: Weigh Component A and Component B according to a 1:1 weight ratio.
2. Mixing: Thoroughly mix the two components of the adhesive by using specialized mixing equipment (such as a planetary mixer). When mixing by hand, pay attention to scraping the bottom and sides of the mixing container.
3. Potting: Pour the prepared adhesive into the area that needs potting. Let it stand at room temperature for 8-10 hours for natural curing. Accelerated curing can also be achieved by heating.
4. Bubble Removal: For rapid curing, wait for the bubbles in the mixed adhesive to be released automatically (place at room temperature for 10-30 minutes); Alternatively, place the mixed adhesive and its container in a vacuum degassing equipment and perform vacuum degassing. During the vacuum degassing process, the mixture's liquid level may rise to 3-4 times the original volume, then automatically collapse. Maintain vacuum for 4-6 minutes after the bubbles collapse, then release the vacuum.
5. Precautions
The components of the addition-curing type JY-9895, A and B, have been proven non-toxic and harmless over the years, requiring no special precautions, only general industrial health and safety standards.
Due to the high sensitivity of the catalyst in this product to poisoning, avoid contact with materials containing nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur compounds, and heavy metal compounds such as organic tin, and keep the containers clean.
Ambient temperature has a certain effect on the pot life of JY-9895 after mixing. The pot life is shortened at higher ambient temperatures.
6. Compatibility
Certain materials, compounds, vulcanizing agents, and plasticizers will hinder the curing of JY-9895. Mainly including:
1. Organotin and other organometallic compounds.
2. Silicone rubber containing organotin catalysts.
3. Sulfur, polysulfides, polysulfone materials, or other sulfur-containing items.
4. Amines, ethyl carbamate, or amine-containing items.
5. Unsaturated hydrocarbon plasticizers.
6. Some residues of flux.
If there is any doubt about whether a certain object or material will cause curing hindrance, it is recommended to conduct a small compatibility test to determine its applicability in this application. If there is liquid or unvulcanized material on the surface of the object in question and the vulcanized gel, it indicates incompatibility, which will hinder curing.
7. Product Packaging
JY-9895 (A/B) is separately packaged in 20Kg plastic drums.
8. Product Storage and Transportation
JY-9895 (A/B) should be stored between 0℃ to 30℃, with a shelf life of more than 6 months under the original packaging and sealed conditions.
Exceeding the shelf life does not mean that the product is completely unusable. In this case, relevant performance should be quality tested to ensure its quality.
The adhesive is transported as a non-hazardous good.
9. Safety Instructions
The main components of liquid silicone rubber have been confirmed to be essentially harmless products after years of application at home and abroad, and no special safety measures are required. Only general industrial safety and health regulations are required during use.
This document does not include the necessary product safety information, and the product instructions should be read before use. If you need the material safety data sheet, please contact us and request it.
